“Consistently wonderful”
The pool was good, the rooms were comfortable, the staff were wonderful, but the gym could have been bigger.
“מאכזב”
I had no positives, the hotel was dull and disappointing. The experience was very let‑down, especially considering the high price. The rooms were basic, small, and didn’t feel worth the cost. For Sabbath‑keepers and kosher diners it was crucial to know beforehand that the hotel forbids outside food or drinks in the pool area, so anyone who can only eat kosher couldn’t sit by the pool with their own food or drink. On Sabbath we faced an even bigger problem: there was no space in the Chabad house for our meals, so we had to order kosher catering. We asked the hotel for a place to sit and eat the Sabbath meal, but they refused to allow it in any public space. The only options they offered were the hotel restaurant or the rooms. The restaurant was irrelevant for kosher observance, and the rooms were too small for shared seating and eating. We tried to explain the situation and ask for some flexibility, but unfortunately we encountered a very rigid attitude and no genuine attempt to find a solution. In the end we had to leave the hotel before Sabbath and move to another place, and even then they refused to refund us for the nights we didn’t stay. Another issue was the pool area management: staff repeatedly asked guests to keep quiet and reduce noise, while a club inside the hotel played loud music. It’s hard to understand the logic of asking guests to stay quiet when the main source of noise comes from the hotel’s own club. Overall we felt the hotel was very strict with its rules and less concerned with guest comfort and needs. At this price we expected much higher room quality, service, and attitude. Sabbath‑keepers and kosher diners should know all these details before booking. We won’t return.
“Nice hotel”
The adults‑only policy is a bonus. The pool is always a bit too hot because it’s quite shallow.
“אכזבה גדולה מאוד – למלון הזה בוודאות לא נחזור”
The hotel was dull, the staff were unpleasant, and they took advantage of the fact that we were close to the Chabad house. We were very disappointed – we definitely won’t return. Our experience was disappointing in almost every way. The rooms were plain, small, and ordinary, and they didn’t justify the high price. As Sabbath‑keepers and kosher‑observant guests, we chose the hotel for its proximity to the Chabad house and local kosher restaurants. Unfortunately, we quickly discovered that the hotel offered zero flexibility or consideration for kosher‑observant guests. At the pool, you were not allowed to eat or even drink anything that wasn’t provided by the hotel. For Sabbath‑keepers, that means no food or drink near the pool, even if you bring your own kosher items. On Sabbath, we encountered an even bigger problem: the Chabad house had a full registration for Shabbat meals, so we arranged kosher catering in advance. We asked the hotel to allow us to sit somewhere on the property and eat our Shabbat meal, but they outright refused. We were told the only options were the hotel restaurant or the rooms. The hotel restaurant wasn’t an option for us because of kosher, and the rooms were too small to host a family meal. Even after explaining the situation and that it was a Shabbat meal, there was no willingness to find a solution, no flexibility, and no sensitivity to our needs. In the end, we had to leave the hotel before Sabbath and move elsewhere just to hold a normal Shabbat meal. We also lost the money we paid, and the hotel refused to refund us. It didn’t stop there. Even trying to sit by the pool and relax became an issue – the staff constantly warned guests, asked them to keep quiet, and demanded silence. The absurdity was that at the same time, the hotel’s own club was playing loud music. The hotel’s behavior was illogical and disrespectful. In the end, we received a high price, basic small rooms, strict rules, unpleasant service, and zero flexibility or sensitivity to guest needs. We left early, lost money, and had to find a last‑minute alternative. Very disappointing. We will never return, and I strongly advise other Sabbath‑keepers and kosher‑observant guests to consider these issues before booking.
The service was beyond ordinary, the cleanliness was top‑class, and the location was perfect.
