It was good value for money for a one‑night stay. The room amenities could be slightly better; having bottled water or Coke in the fridge as a minibar would be good.
“Pleasant stay at central Melbourne.”
The reception staff were warm and welcoming, and they even offered us still‑warm cookies. Compared to our last hotel, this place felt better overall and offered more value, so we’d likely return. It’s close to shopping and food, and we didn’t encounter any negatives.
“Convenient and safe hotel”
The hotel’s location is great, close to bars, restaurants, and public transport, and they offer a nice happy hour with friendly staff. However, there was no view from the room, only a window for some natural light. On both days we returned to the room in the mid‑afternoon and found it hadn’t been made up, and the facecloths were missing on the first two days but were left on the third.

The location was fantastic, right in the heart of everything, and the price was competitive. The rooms were a good size and well appointed, and breakfast was excellent with plenty of options for my group of four. The staff were exceptional and went above and beyond for us. The only downside was that I stayed in a Flinders St room, so the street noise, sirens, and Saturday night revelers were pretty loud past 2 am—just normal city sounds, but we’re not used to that.
