The riad was pretty but a bit dreary and could be improved easily – the terrace with benches was nice, and having a shared space on our floor with a TV, fridge, and cooking facilities was appreciated. It was quieter than the medina, good for sleeping, though we still heard a lot from neighbors (shower noise, no VMC). The room was very Spartan: no décor, just a bed, wardrobe, and night tables. The mattress comfort was decent. We had booked a terrace‑view room but were given a room on the 2nd floor; when we mentioned it, they said it was already taken and that we were staying only one night. Be careful with that. The price‑quality ratio was average. The bathroom was a bit depressing, the shower flooded the room even with a quick shower. The sheets and towels were stained. No soap was provided; we found a bar of soap that was probably used by previous guests, repackaged and left there. Meh.

The hospitality was top; Brahim was very friendly and gave us great support, even managing to return the phone I had forgotten.

The staff were polite, but the switch in the room was broken, there was no soap in the bathroom, no one answered the knock and the owner had to wait 5‑7 minutes; the only cleaning staff was a maid who didn’t speak English, and even for Morocco this is a disgrace.
