The location was quiet, and the room was nice.

The front desk was friendly and the young receptionist was very pleasant – I only have praise for her. The place claims to have parking (I even think the listing said free parking on Booking), but there is no parking nearby, and you can’t even pull over for a minute to unload. It makes sense that you can’t drive into the heart of the old town, yet the booking page didn’t make that clear and the hotel still advertises parking. We ended up lugging our stuff like donkeys, exhausted from the trip, and spent money on a garage that was nowhere near the hotel. Another issue: the smell of city sewer gases drifted straight into the room; maybe it’s worse in lower floors, but we were on the ground or basement floor and after 24 hours the luggage, clothes, and even us smelled like sewage.

The location is very good, close to Bulwar Riva, bus stops, and the city centre. The rooms could be quieter – you can hear the neighbours.
