The welcome was great, the cleanliness impeccable and the breakfast exceptional, but the noise from the café across the street was a bit annoying.

The place lives up to its name, surrounded on both sides by a small river with a gentle murmur perfect for relaxing; the décor is delicate and refined, the rooms very comfortable, and the breakfast area in the downstairs hall is warm and convivial with a generous table. Our host Ed was charming and attentive.

In the center of a beautiful mountain village beside a small river, the setting is fairy‑tale like in an authentic house. The host is superb and the breakfast is great. The floor was a little scratched and a slightly wider bed could have been offered.
