The staff, especially Darren, were friendly and knowledgeable, and we were thrilled when they prepared a hot vegan breakfast for us. The breakfast room and gardens stood out as the best parts of our visit, and the nearby lively pub was close enough for a good atmosphere but far enough not to disturb our room. The room itself was clean and comfortable, though its decor could use a refresh to match the rest of the property.

The host was friendly and wonderful, and he drove us into the village after we arrived so we could grab a drink and dinner. He offered great tips for excursions, and overall it was a good place. We’ll definitely come back.
