The view was the best part of this place.

“We didn’t stay”

Nothing positive. We never even checked in after seeing the facility. The bar, café, and restaurant have been closed for 18 months, so the website photos are misleading. Spend your money elsewhere; this overseas-owned disgrace is not worth it.

“NO HOT WATER and poor communication!!”

I was happy that the hotel sat close to a gorgeous lake, but the lack of hot water and the staff’s poor communication ruined the experience.

“No internet connection even though we could connect to there net work fine, staff were non existent”

The view was amazing, yet the carpet in my room hadn’t been washed, there was no microwave or sink, and we weren’t told the common kitchen was available—though it was also filthy.

The view is fantastic and it’s the perfect spot after a day on Doubtful Sound. The staff were very friendly.
