It felt like a 1001 Nights tale in the old town of Kairouan, perfect for exploring the Medina with a parking spot practically at the door. The welcome was extremely warm and the staff offered useful tips for every question.

The dar is superb, a real museum. It sits at the Medina entrance with nearby parking. The staff are friendly and the breakfast is good. There is no daily housekeeping, no safe, and no wardrobe hooks.

You feel more like a museum than a hotel, with a unique atmosphere and beautiful colors and ornaments everywhere. Breakfast is served in a gorgeous courtyard, and communication via chat is fast. Everything was truly wonderful!

The setting follows the Dar style, the staff are very courteous, located at the Medina entrance but close to the pedestrian street with markets and restaurants; breakfast is served at the table, no buffet, with salty and sweet options. We were three and the room had only one double bed; the third bed was a sofa‑bed that was very uncomfortable and hard.
