The central location makes everything within walking distance, and there’s a parking lot in front of the building with about 7 spots, and the staff are friendly. But the noise level is extreme; we had room No. 1 in the main building right behind the reception and could hear every word. Every step on the hallway, every door, every barking dog, and all the screaming children. There’s far too little storage space in the room. Breakfast was also quite weak and a real mess. The weakest hotel on our entire Brittany trip.

Being right next to the Saint Mathieu lighthouse and the abbey ruins is unbeatable, and romantic evening walks are included; the rooms are modern and comfortable, we even had a small terrace with lounge chairs, and the garden offers seating too. There’s a tiny guest parking spot and free charging for e‑cars. Bistro 54 is excellent, and the neighboring crêperie is also good—book it! However, our reservation promised a "view of the lighthouse," yet from the room we couldn’t see the Phare Saint Mathieu as expected; we only caught the distant light from Le Conquet, which might have been what they meant, but that feels misleading. Breakfast was okay but repetitive each day, and the coffee was poor. After breakfast the dining room was closed, and aside from the very small lobby there was no other space for guests to relax outside their rooms. Still, I’d return because the location is fantastic and outweighs the minor flaws.
