“Sofia's guesthouse”

The hotel sits in a great spot, within walking distance of all the main sights, and the building’s old charm adds to its appeal. The place was spotless and there were plenty of restaurants nearby, so I’m already looking forward to another visit. The only downside was the loud street traffic, but the staff kindly provided earplugs, which was a nice touch.

“Loved it except for the shower water pressure and hot water”

The place is well‑situated, stays quiet at night, and is super clean, spacious, and the beds are comfy. The shower’s water pressure and hot water were problematic: it took about five minutes for the water to heat up, then it would flicker between a normal flow and a cold trickle, which was frustrating. Aside from that, the hotel is great.

“Lovely property, friendly staff, however it’s not hotel like getting in and out.”

The interior feels very modern while still preserving some antique elements of the old building. The hardwood doors and floors are magnificent, and the staff are friendly and accommodating. I appreciated the attention to detail, especially the clear Nespresso machine instructions and the helpful guidebook. The only issue was that the room doors look beautiful, but the real keys were a hassle; electronic keys would have been more convenient, though they would compromise the aesthetic.

“Good than expectation”

The room was very clean and comfortable. The only drawback was the absence of a microwave.
