Heimly Pensjonat overlooks the Aurlandsfjord, just 400 m from Flåm Train Station. Guests enjoy a tranquil garden, lounge, and breakfast room with fjord vistas; dinner and breakfast are included. Rooms feature simple décor, private bathrooms, and some provide mountain‑and‑fjord views. The inn offers expert assistance for boat cruises, hiking, biking, and UNESCO‑listed Nærøyfjord excursions.

The view was absolutely stunning, especially if your room faces the fjord on the front side. The staff were great, though there is no lift, but they gladly carried luggage up. Dinner was good, though not outstanding, and breakfast was also good. The electrical outlets were old-fashioned except in the bathroom; if you travel with a CPAP machine it would help to have a modern outlet at the head of the beds. If the weather is bad or you’re older, a shuttle would be useful since it’s a long walk from the station or dock.

Everything was perfect—food, cleanliness, location, view, and the staff were so kind they made us feel at home; if I get the chance, I'll definitely stay here again.

Outstanding property. Excellent breakfast and amazing dinner are included. They modified meals for gluten free and vegetarian. Easy to walk location. We will definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!
