The location was awesome, right across from the water and a 2‑minute walk to The Ettalong, and the place was clean, tidy, and felt safe; I parked on the property and the air‑con worked well. The bed felt a bit too soft for us, but acceptable for a couple of nights, and the shower was a bit tricky but functional; the blinds were split, letting in light as the sun rose.

We arrived a little early and the manager helped us find a ready room, gave extra towels and an ironing board, and was genuinely friendly, accommodating and helpful; the location was great for all the events we had over four days, and we only needed one Uber—everything else was walkable. The lack of a bedside table on my side of the bed was surprisingly inconvenient, and the shower temperature took a while to get right, but those were not dealbreakers.

Easy access and homey feel. There were a few cockroaches.

The bed was lovely and comfortable. The amenities were very clean. The water pressure was fantastic and the shower had nice hot water. The decor was retro. The only downside was that the room upstairs could only be reached by stairs. The decor was dated.

The staff were friendly and the view was great, but the bathroom lacked an exhaust fan.
