The location works great as a base for visiting Sigiriya, Minneriya, Polonnaruva, etc., and it was nice to return to a quiet spot with a pool to cool off; the rooms are roomy and well equipped. We ate out in Sigiriya one night, which was good, and the food at the hotel was also fine. I can’t think of any major issues, just wish the cool room had fewer flies around the breakfast fruits.

We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast. The room was pristine, modern, and the bedding incredibly comfortable. From the effortless check‑in to the moment we left, the staff went above and beyond to keep us comfortable.
