The place turned out nothing like the listing – it’s not on the beach, the grill was broken and the pool looked like a dirty black puddle. The host was constantly snappy, even threatening to cancel our reservation and later shouting at us at the gate, which left us feeling nervous and unsafe, so we left right away.

Sindi welcomed us right away and even had the air‑conditioning already on so the room stayed cool. We were free to use the fully stocked communal kitchen, and the pool had just been cleaned after the recent rain, but that didn’t matter since the beach is only a few minutes away. Walking to downtown is easy either along the waterfront or through the street behind the inn, and I’d definitely book again.
