The breakfast was plentiful and tasty, and the S-Bahn, tram and Offenbach city centre were all within walking distance. The room was very noisy, and some damage needed fixing.

“Dirty, noisy and poorly maintained hotel with unfriendly staff. Very disappointing experience.”

Honestly, there wasn’t much to enjoy during our stay. The room was filthy and dusty, with rubbish and dust under the bed and the air‑conditioning unit covered in grime. Heating was weak, wardrobe shelves were broken, and the safe didn’t work. The bathroom was dirty, the shower holder was broken so we had to hold the head, and drainage left a big puddle that wouldn’t clear. Walls and doors were so thin we could hear everything from neighboring rooms and the hallway; early in the morning a vacuum outside our door sounded like it was inside. Staff were unfriendly and oddly behaved. For two people staying three nights we only received three tea bags, two sugar portions and two paper cups, and the coffee was extremely bitter. Cleanliness, maintenance, soundproofing and service were all very disappointing.

The hotel is modern and comfortable, the room and bathroom are spacious, and breakfast is varied. At breakfast on two mornings the hot‑drink machine didn’t work well, and the hotel is almost a kilometre from the metro stop, which can be a bit inconvenient with luggage.

The staff were super friendly and very helpful, and my request for a room change was granted right away. The room was cozy and clean, and the Wi‑Fi was great. House‑keeping worked reliably, and there was an elevator. The building is a bit noisy, which is normal for older structures.
