Staying a second time with my husband and our pups feels like home—so relaxing, gorgeous, and Rick is the best guy ever, becoming a friend to us all. He’s become close with my dog Indy, who adores him, and we often see them playing ball across the vast acres where the dogs can run freely. Our two dogs even remembered how to take themselves to the dam, which is brilliant for hot days. There are three rooms; we’ve stayed in two of them. If you need a fenced grassy area, take the King Suite with spa so the dogs can go to the loo on grass at night and return inside. The other two have verandahs and pool fencing, so you’ll need to take the pups out for their business. I love the room with the best mountain views, but the one by the pool with fencing and grass is also great, just different scenery. The pool is a paradise. It’s not a Ritz‑style villa, but it’s tidy, clean, and perfect for pups—we love it. It’s a ten‑minute drive to the beach, and you can reach Fingal, Kingscliff, Casuarina, or Cabarita in the same time. Love this place; I’ll be back in February after just leaving last long weekend. xx
