The tent was roomy, cozy, and spotless, with a huge, super comfy bed and a fantastic bathroom. The food was top‑quality and diverse, and the half‑day tour, dune buggy, and camel ride were all worth doing. However, you’ll need to bring your own wine or beer because that wasn’t mentioned until we got there, making it inconvenient to pick up supplies. The camp’s payment instructions were confusing, so make sure you get clear details beforehand; they eventually accepted a bank transfer or PayPal after we pushed back against insisting on cash.

“Sehr schöner Aufenthalt am Rande der fantastischen Sandwüste”

The huts were covered with red fabric on the outside, unlike many other camps that use white plastic walls, giving a very authentic feel. With only about 12 huts, the place feels cozy overall. The online photos don’t match reality; the camp is currently being modernised, and six huts are still under construction. All staff tried hard to make our stay pleasant, but we could still see the work in progress. Once the renovations finish, hopefully new photos will be posted and the site will be tidier.

“Excelente aventura en el desierto”

The service was 100 % personalized by Mohamed, Youseff and Salah; since we were the only guests in the apartment they made us feel very comfortable and satisfied in every way. Nothing to note otherwise.

The camp staff were very entertaining, extremely friendly and fun to hang out with! The food was excellent! The Camel Sunrise tour was a very, very unique experience—cameleons live on site, which was crucial for me to do a camel‑riding tour. The tour felt more like a short walk through the dunes, but hey, do you want to lug around some dump asses? Me neither! Great value for the money. There is nothing to complain about!!

The staff were unbelievably friendly, greeting us right on time and escorting us to the camp where they offered us tea; the rooms were spotless, spacious and comfortable, with a pristine bathroom that felt like a surprise oasis in the desert. The meals prepared by the kitchen staff were delicious, and both the camel ride and ATV tour were a lot of fun. Even though only four of us were at the camp, they still built a fire and organized entertainment for us, so thank you for everything. On the downside, the room would have benefited from a fan because it got very hot and swarmed with insects—opening the window was impossible, leaving the space warm and buggy, and I ended up killing about fifteen sharp‑pointed flies without being able to sleep; a bug‑repellent device in the room seems necessary.
