The Bakker house’s location is perfect; within minutes on foot you reach the beach, the milk bar, and the town center. The room is pretty, brightly decorated, and the bathroom is modern with plenty of hooks and a kettle. It’s an old building, which is fine, but I’d have liked a small entrance hall—there’s no space for it. Overall, the atmosphere is very nice.

The staff at breakfast were very friendly and helpful. The rooms with bathrooms were good. However, upon arrival everything looked untidy and disordered, the stairwell smelled of cold cigarette smoke, and we had to pay extra to store our bikes. There wasn’t even a room; the trash bins were there too.
