Everything was perfect, the room was stunning and the location is ideal for reaching the beach; I’ll definitely come back. Everything was great.

The proximity to the two lovely jungle beaches, the calm environment, the nice room with a balcony overlooking the sea and a hot shower were all great. It was a shame the restaurant was closed during our stay, so we walked about 30 minutes to the big Hikkaduwa beach where many restaurants and bars are on the beach, and we shopped at the small boutiques. The entertainment was guaranteed. We returned by tuk‑tuk. Nothing to add.
When booking we chatted and he asked for help with transfer, we agreed on a reasonable price. Upon arrival we were offered cold coconuts. The next day my friend had a birthday, we casually mentioned it, and in the evening Ranga came with a tortoise, which was very pleasant. The room had a stunning ocean view, and in the evenings fruit‑bearing foxes would come. Everything was very enjoyable. Prosperity to the Jungle Beach Restaurant And Hotel – JBR. Ranga!!! Thanks a lot 🔥🔥🔥🔥!!!
It looked beautiful and it was wonderfully quiet—no hard beat music at all. The view was lovely, surrounded by greenery. You couldn’t have breakfast or eat there.
We had a lovely stay here. Our host Ranga speaks excellent English and helped us book tuk‑tuks. The accommodation had a great view and is within walking distance of the beautiful Jungle Beach, where there is a rustic bar and restaurant. It’s also within walking distance to Unawatuna, with some lovely cafés on the way through the jungle walk. This accommodation is very peaceful and is next to a temple. There is a rooftop deck with fabulous views over the sea and magnificent sunsets. Highly recommend! The restaurant wasn’t open and/or running, but it was nice to have the beach bar to go to and it’s a short tuk‑tuk ride to the main road where there are restaurants.
