The location is really great and there are plenty of places to eat nearby. The shower and bathroom facilities are well kept, and the small lounge with a communal fridge, coffee machine, and water dispenser is a nice touch. The indoor space is quiet and very cool, so I slept like a baby every night. The only downside is that getting up on the second‑floor bed isn’t easy; if you have trouble with your legs you should request a first‑floor bed in advance. The complimentary indoor slippers are made of non‑woven fabric, so if you don’t like them getting wet you’ll probably want to bring your own.

The hotel sits in Kampong Gelam, a lively Malay neighborhood where you can find restaurants and shops while enjoying the typical streets. Check‑in and check‑out were straightforward, the bed was comfortable, and the locker was relatively large (though just enough for two suitcases). There was a cold water dispenser and ice in the freezer, and the outlet in the room is universal. The showers and toilets seemed to be cleaned only once a day; they were often dirty (urine on the floor and on the toilet seat, hair in the shower, water everywhere on the floor from the shower), and required maintenance (the tap was miscalibrated, the toilet flushed automatically every few seconds even when empty, and a host of other small issues). There was no proper dining setup (no sink, cutlery, etc.) despite the fridge and microwave. Many people came and went at night because of arrivals and departures (some not very discreet). In the pod there is only one outlet for two people, located next to the pillow, which is very inconvenient. Note that there are stairs (5‑6 steps) before the elevator, which broke down on the last day.

Well located and the capsule is fairly modern. The toilets were not clean, and when someone snored loudly the staff told us they couldn’t do anything.
