“Merveilleux !”
The scenery was breathtaking and the location proved ideal for sightseeing, hiking and more; the staff greeted us warmly and the atmosphere felt very sociable, making it easy to strike up conversations with other guests, so I’d gladly return. I only stayed two days, and in hindsight I wish I had extended my visit by a few more days.

I liked the family‑friendly, warm atmosphere, the location with a nice view and the evening quiet were also great; I found the breakfast and dinner good. The rooms and overall equipment were fairly basic and my room was small, but that’s reflected in the price; everything was sufficient for me and the accommodation was a good base for my mountain bike tour in the Vosges, even with the final climb.
The location was great and the hosts were friendly, but the atmosphere felt a bit untidy.
The room was furnished with basic amenities, no luxury or new furnishings, but everything was adequate; it was spacious and clean, and I appreciated that the double bed offered mattresses of different firmness so I could choose softer or firmer; it was hot during my stay, but the house was pleasant and had no air‑conditioning, which I don’t like much; I didn’t use breakfast, so I can’t rate it. The room might feel a bit austere, but that didn’t bother me too much.
