The staff were friendly, and although the place looks a bit old, overall the facilities are clean. The outdoor hot spring right in front of the building offers a refreshing view of the forest. The buffet is decent, but breakfast and dinner don’t change much; there are only a few dishes that stand out as particularly tasty. The sound of the stream outside the room is loud, so people who are sensitive might be bothered.

The buffet’s variety and quality were excellent and delicious. The path to the buffet passes in front of the guest rooms, which makes the walk a little awkward mentally.

The staff were friendly, the maintenance good, and the hot spring facilities were well managed; the main path of the hot spring is at the entrance, so it’s convenient no matter where you go. The area is narrow, but for travelers without cars it’s easy to explore, so the location is a plus. The only downside was that over the 2‑night, 3‑day stay the morning and evening menus never changed; the food itself was great, but a bit of variety would have made it better.
