“Schön, freundlich. angenehm”
Everything was excellent, and there was nothing to complain about.
“A fair overnight stay”
The breakfast was adequate but not exceptional, and there’s train access right under the window! There’s no overnight noise. The outside space is limited and the menu is pricey.

The location by the lake is incredibly quiet, and the Rhäthische Bahn whistles by about every half hour during the day. As a guest you get a free ride on the RhB all the way to Bernina Pass, with stops that offer hiking and dining options – the train ride itself is spectacular! The only downside is that the building is old and has no lift, so you have to carry your luggage up yourself.
The kitchen was brilliant, the food excellent, the regional wine was fine, the service was warm, and the location was great, but the bathroom was very small and cramped.

I’m absolutely thrilled with this place – it feels like a hidden gem and not just another tourist stop. The house radiates calm from the moment you arrive, and I couldn’t find any reason to complain.
