The location is sensational and hard to beat, but the rooms lack air conditioning and ceiling fans; on hot days it’s unbearable, and opening the front glass doesn’t help. The service was hard to obtain, no one spoke English, and communication was difficult, so we couldn’t always get what we wanted. The staff were polite and attentive, though. I wouldn’t call the place a hotel, but a bed‑and‑breakfast.

The views, terrace and common areas were great, but the bathroom (access to the bathtub) lets neighbors hear you from the terraces, which reduces privacy, and the pillows are soft.

Four perfect days with beautiful sunsets, personalized breakfasts and a superb sea view, and the hosts were very attentive. The rooms are fantastic unless you have neighbors who smoke despite a ban and keep everyone entertained; fortunately we only had such neighbors on the last night, which is the host’s fault. Some items show wear and could use repair, like a pool chair.
