“Beautiful place full of the kindest people”

The beautiful design, the wonderful staff and the option of tranquility or party vibes. Coccobello has the friendliest staff. I travelled alone and such a peaceful stay here but it also has party nights which looked great. It seems to have something for everyone!

Everything was super clean and incredibly beautiful. The staff were wonderful, always ready to help. The menu was varied and tasty, and the price‑to‑quality ratio was excellent.

“Ne recommande pas et je n y retournerai pas”

We arrived and didn’t even get a glass of water to welcome us. There was no shower gel, no hair dryer, and only one towel per person. When we showered, the water ran into the toilet. The breakfast was minimal; we asked for milk several times and had to wait until the third day to get it. Some staff members didn’t smile as expected.

“It is OK but not for this money”

The staff were absolutely fantastic and helpful—they deserve a raise. The restaurant/bar had a nice decor, and breakfast and drinks were tasty. The location isn’t ideal; it’s far from Nungwi’s center and the route to the beach is a bit shady. You have to pay extra for AC. Rooms lack window glass, and a nearby construction site starts making awful noises very early, making it hard to sleep. Not all beds have mosquito nets. The great staff is a big plus, and these issues could be fixed; the place has the potential to be one of the best in Nungwi.
