Hotel Santiago de Compostella Suites

I stayed there at 1 am, and the room was a mess—sheets hadn’t been changed and were covered in hair, the jacuzzi was full of nails and grime, and the towels were old or dirty. I decided to sleep without using the bathtub, and the toilet paper was almost finished.

The staff were attentive and there was more parking than on previous visits, which earned them many points; the food tasted great, though the presentation could have been slightly better. The bed was very low.

“Bonita estancia, pesima comida”

The room was spacious, clean, and pretty. When I ordered room service for dinner, my order was wrong. Breakfast the next morning was quite basic, but the yogurt served was sour, bitter, and had bubbles—clear signs of spoilage. I told the service staff, who said they would open a new box and replace it, but it was still the same.

“Cuenca siempre es buena elección”

The location, the staff, and the rooftop cocktails were 10/10. It matters to me that rooms don’t include bottled water.
