The spot is gorgeous, right on the water with a clear sea view. The house is tidy, two balconies, and there’s a small beach a short walk away and a bigger one a bit further. The owner was friendly and even took the time to show me the village and shops in Espargos. But being alone, it felt a bit isolated, especially at night when the street isn’t lit.

The host was super friendly and helped me get through my first days on Sal, even after my card got swallowed by the ATM. The place is quiet, and the sound of the sea is just relaxing.

First thing that caught my eye was the host picking us up from the airport – not something you see every day. The apartment was great, sea view, welcome drink, three bedrooms, two terraces, roomy living area. The host was open, generous, always ready to help and had loads of island tips. The only downside? The beach is a bit tricky to swim in because of the harbor traffic and rocks.

Right on the water, you can watch the sunset from the balcony. The village is a little walk away, about 800 meters, but it’s easy to get there on foot. The host was super friendly, really appreciated it.

The house is big and quiet, right by the sea, far from crowded towns. It’s got everything you need for a short stay and is close to a little town. The host was welcoming, attentive, and speaks French. The only hiccup is the weak shower pressure – but that’s typical on the island, so you just have to be careful with water.
