However, one room only came with a fan, with no proper mattress. The ceiling was extremely low, and it did not meet the standard of a proper bedroom, making it uninhabitable. As a result, one guest had to sleep on the sofa bed. 2. The location of the guesthouse is hard to find. You need to go uphill, down stairs and then up stairs again on very steep slopes. The traditional architecture and quiet surroundings were nice. I did not like having to navigate through piles of trash to reach the house, and the owner insisted on deciding whether we should share a bed even though the reservation was for two adults. Only one set of linens was provided, so I had to pay an extra daily fee for a second set and ended up sleeping on an uncomfortable fold‑out sofa.

The whole space was large and comfortable, but only video was provided, no room photos, so sharing was impossible. There was a bathroom, kitchen + dining area, living room, and bedroom. The location is hard to find because it’s tucked into a small alley; if you take the subway, following the customer‑service directions is best, otherwise you might have to climb a slope and navigate shaky stairs.

The Hanok was beautiful, very clean, close to the subway, and the area was quiet—perfect!
