On 6/30, the front desk lady’s attitude was very good. The room lighting could be brighter.

The staff were friendly, but I kept being moved around because the Wi‑Fi kept dropping. The beds were kid bunk beds that hurt my back and made for a terrible night.

The American‑style décor was distinctive and the surroundings were tranquil; the room featured a retro industrial vibe with furniture that looked quite nice, and breakfast included free scones and coffee. The furnishings overall were a bit basic, the wheels under the bed slid easily, and the lighting was rather dim. You have to drive up, and the mountain road is narrow, though there are generally parking spots available.

The place was spotless and the staff were welcoming, even giving us free coffee and an Okinawan donut; everything we needed was available.
