Len Kyoto Kawaramachi

The café is charming, the atmosphere is great, and the common room is well equipped and cozy; the location is perfect. The bathrooms are clean and the showers are luxurious. However, the beds are hard, my room was always damp and smelled musty, and the rooms really need a renovation—it's a shame for such a top hostel.

The place is in a good spot and the facilities are solid.

The location was great—central yet quiet, not right in the middle of everything. The staff were amazing, all attentive and friendly, especially the guy at the check-in desk who wrote us a good luck note for our Capoeira competition! The downstairs bar area had a really cool vibe, always busy but relaxed. The bed was comfortable, I never had to wait for the shower, and there was plenty of space in the shower to put all my stuff.

They offered a drink service, but I felt the shower room could have been cleaner.
