The welcome was friendly at a cozy family‑run place, an ideal base for exploring the region by bike, a nice pool, a nearby supermarket, and the option to use the kitchen. It’s well‑situated between Beaune, Autun and Chalon sur Saône. The only issue was the missing skylight.

The whole property around the farm has a certain charm and some good ideas, but none of them are fully realized; for instance, the farm is great for eating in summer weather, yet no one ensures that cushions are laid out or brought in, or that the table is wiped down—this only happens when asked. Breakfast is standard, nothing more, and there could be more enticing rural offers. The house lacks a coherent direction; the staff are short‑term hires with no real connection to the place, they are nice and helpful but not professionals. Room cleaning did not occur during the stay. The owner never appeared, and the property lacks the character it could have; it simply feels soulless, and the nightly rate is too high. It seems the owner wants to make quick money before more guests realize the accommodation is not worth the price.
