Breakfast was terrible, or more accurately, there was none; no buffet, just a few slices of bread and jam, no boiled eggs or omelets – that’s all. An extra charge for breakfast was added to the room rate. There was no kettle for tea or coffee in the room, and the room was swarming with mosquitoes. The hotel photos looked great when I booked, but the reality inside was very different.

The mattress was very hard, and I could hear other rooms chatting while walking, so privacy was impossible. The staff looked very unhappy, as if customers were there to complain and not to stay for free.
