The location is great, just yards from the beach and shops. However, the kitchen had limited workspace for seven people; an island might help. We also left behind two tea towels and a fridge magnet, and despite repeated phone calls to Sykes Cottages, nothing has happened.

The atmosphere was friendly, the rooms were lovely and clean, and the breakfast was fantastic. The location was brilliant. The only downside was that there were no fans in the room.

The location is great, with onsite parking and a comfortable room. The welcome was very friendly, and the cooked breakfast had plenty of choices. The family business runs well, and the son who served breakfast was very good at his job and informative about the local area. The only improvement we’d suggest is updating the shower in the room.

The room was comfy and the breakfast amazing. The brother and sister serving breakfast were absolutely wonderful, a credit to the Guest house, and I highly recommend it. Everything was great.

The location is great—short walk to the centre, Tesco, and many local shops. There are plenty of pubs and eateries, and train stations with mainline service to Cromer/Norwich and a steam train to Holt. National Trust venues are within 8 miles or Sheringham. The beach is difficult to access because of many stones, and tidal breakers prevent walking along the shoreline.
