The location was great, easy to get around, clean and comfortable with good restaurants and shops nearby. The walls were a bit thin, so noisy neighbors slamming doors woke us up. One evening the shower didn’t get very warm and it was hard to find a good temperature – sometimes too hot, sometimes too cold. Once it hit the middle range, it was lovely and powerful.

Nice room, the ground‑floor café is highly recommended. If you’re good on foot, you can reach everything. We walked past all the sights.

The property was very welcoming, and I liked that the common room could be accessed without keys, just with a code, and that you could leave your luggage there with cameras watching it. The only flaw was that Booking listed the room as ready at 2 pm, but after calling the host he said rooms are given from 3 pm onward, so there was a Booking error. When we arrived at 3 pm the room still wasn’t ready and we had to wait another hour, but the host later explained that unforeseen events had occurred.

The beds were comfortable and the bathroom spacious, but the place was too noisy—there was constant toilet flushing, voices, and other guests’ showers leaking into the room, and even the street was loud. The soap service was only for one shower, so we had to buy more, and that should have been mentioned.

Very cosy, accommodating, and a short walk to the Vatican, with nice restaurants and bars nearby! The facilities were all we needed, the bed was very comfortable, the place was clean, and the location was great.
