The breakfast was good, the room was quiet and spacious with plenty of natural light, and we received an extra bed sheet as requested. The steam room, sauna, hot tub, bathrobes, and exercise room were all available. The closet only had three hangers per person; we asked for more but received none. The electric outlet next to the bed was already jammed with plugs, so I had to buy a 3‑in‑1 adapter from a hardware store because the hotel wouldn’t supply one. The room also had a heater and a heat pump, but they didn’t explain how to use them separately or together, so I set the heat pump to cold at night while the heat was still on and couldn’t figure out how to lower it. There was no place to store clothes; we asked for a second suitcase holder and got none, so I had to leave my clothes in the suitcase on the floor. The front‑desk girl knew almost nothing when we asked her questions.

The room is pretty, offers a nice view, and the equipment is enough to make a hot drink; the rooms and bedding are clean, the balcony is nice, and the bathrobes are handy for heading to the spa, where the shower jets are pleasant and the spa itself is clean. The breakfast was very basic for a 4‑star hotel, with no local or Canadian products, no maple syrup, and the staff told me it was normal and that I could find it in nearby shops. I sent several emails before arrival to book a massage but never got a reply; when I tried to book at reception I was told I had to book in advance, so I couldn’t get the massage. I left my debit card there and never heard back when I tried to contact them.
