Julie and Sean were very friendly and welcoming, and their lovely dogs added to the charm. The property was full of character, in a nice location, and breakfast offered a wide variety of choices. I would definitely stay again.

We felt very comfortable at the Maison de Ganil. The house dates back to the late 18th century and sits in a valley beside a river, surrounded by beautiful cliffs. What we appreciated most was how friendly and welcoming the hosts were, making us feel like visiting old friends. Cirq‑Lapopie was one of our favorite medieval villages in the Dordogne.

The breakfast was complete and good, the place was very quiet with a very characteristic setting, and the staff were attentive and friendly. The only issue was that the television in the room was missing; there was only one available in the communal lounge.

The spot on our hiking trail before heading to Saint-Cirq Lapopie, Sean’s company in the evening, and Julie’s breakfast in their pretty house made the trip worthwhile!

Nos hôtes étaient très charmants, accueillants et prévenants ! quel superbe petit déjeuner. je recommande ce lieu. Un petit clin d'oeil à M. Sh. il se reconnaîtra pour sa disponibilité pour nous conduire à St cirq lapopie et surtout venir nous rechercher. rien
