The location was fantastic—shops, restaurants, and the cathedral were all within walking distance, which was a relief for my arthritic right knee. However, a boiler issue caused our electric shower to break, leaving us without hot water for the entire stay; the staff apologized profusely and were very helpful. We also discovered the property didn't serve breakfast, which we hadn't realized when booking, but the staff again offered useful recommendations. There were several staircases to reach our room, but the staff carried one of our bags up for us.
