The accommodation was great.

The rooms were large and the beds comfortable, but the pillows were too firm and there were no softer options. There were no restaurants within walking distance—only fast‑food spots. To reach the hotel entrance you had to walk through a shopping area that, during the day, was thick with smoke from students gathered there.

The room was spacious, the breakfast varied and very good, and there was parking in front of the hotel surrounded by small restaurants. Depending on your taste, the mattresses can feel a bit firm, but nothing too bothersome.

I was within a 15‑minute walk of the Flix bus stop. The bed was very hard, making it hard to sleep, and the toilet seat was loose and dangerous. We booked a large room with a spa bath, but it only had a shower. The staff didn’t speak English and weren’t welcoming. The “city view” was actually apartments. Even though breakfast was included, you had to pay extra for coffee or omelettes.

The hotel sits in a prestigious northern district of Konya, away from the busy city center but near upscale malls and attractions such as the Butterfly Park (15 minutes by car), the Japanese Garden, and the excellent Science Center; check‑in and check‑out were quick, Wi‑Fi was fast, and private parking was available. Housekeeping was professional and respectful, the rooms were exceptionally spacious with comfortable beds and a large bathroom, and when I mentioned a bad smell in the upper‑floor bathroom, the management responded immediately and moved me to the first floor, showing good customer service. The hotel is part of a commercial complex, and the nearby restaurants offer tasty food. However, the location, though upscale, is far from Konya’s vibrant historical center where Mevlana’s museum, old mosques, and popular traditional restaurants are found. The hotel restaurant is very poor in both food quality and service, and the team seems to have serious management issues. The biggest downside is the unpleasant bathroom smell that persisted even after changing rooms. Despite the hotel being relatively new, there were minor maintenance problems: faulty electrical sockets, a loose bathroom door handle, and a broken shower holder.
