“Adequate for cheap and cheerful overnight stay.”

Staff is friendly. If you’re just after a bed for the night (or two), a place where you can refresh yourself and maybe have a cuppa, this is perfectly adequate. Great location, close to the lake. We are a family of 4 with pre-teen kids. We squeezed the bikes into the room for safety overnight. It’s just a bit tired and cramped. You get what you pay for. Window locks were almost all coming off, could do with roller blind in bathroom

The female staff member who spoke Chinese—probably the owner’s wife—was extremely friendly and provided excellent service, starting with a very positive first impression at check‑in. The washing machine required coins, and she even offered to exchange money for us. The room was generally clean and comfortable, and the little kitchen had enough cookware for us to prepare meals; the only downside was low water pressure in the bathroom, though it was still usable and the drainage worked well. The location is great, just a ten‑minute walk to PAC N’ SAVE and the riverside attractions. I would definitely recommend it.
