Several points deserve appreciation at Domus D'amore: cleanliness, room size, and location. Our room was definitely spacious, and like all others it had a nice terrace where you could drink something and relax in peace after a long day of hiking. The bathroom is also notably large, modern, and offers everything needed. The (external, as the property stated) had two windows, which is rare in any hotel and not to be underestimated, plus a large walk‑in shower. As mentioned, the attention to cleanliness is impressive. Being in the apartment on Piazza Cavour put us in a very convenient spot for all the sites we wanted to visit. The windows provide excellent sound insulation and the air conditioning works great; I slept very well. Finally, the value for money is worth considering; if I ever return to Naples I might contact them again. Finding the apartment in a complex and large condominium was not easy; as constructive criticism I would suggest the property give more information, as the messages received were sparse and dry: you need very little to feel welcomed. The toilet flush in the bathroom is slow to refill (about half an hour, not exaggerated); I don’t think much can be done in this case, but it’s something to consider for guests who might be in a hurry. Our room had no television, which is quite odd (we watch little and were in the room only to sleep, but…).

The cleaning was good, but the bathroom, although private, was not in the room, so every time you needed to go you ran into guests from other rooms. A very negative note is the lack of TV in the rooms, which should always be present.

The spot was spot on, just a short walk from major sights like via Duomo, via dei tribunali, and spaccaNapoli, and the metro stops were right outside. The place was nicely furnished, the room had AC, the bed was super comfy and we slept well; the bathroom even had shampoo and body wash. The downside was that the bathroom, while private, was outside the room on the other side of the corridor, which made it awkward to use—only once did we bump into another guest, and it felt a bit uncomfortable. We also didn’t get any face‑to‑face interaction with the host, only a phone call. Even after contacting them more than 24 hours before arrival via messages, they replied that we were already in town. Check‑in was confusing: we arrived at the gate and didn’t know how to get in (then we found a staff member inside who hadn’t heard the intercom); the host sent us an infographic with useful details only after we already had the room, so it was a bit late. We also had to ask for info like sending documents for check‑in or paying the tourist tax, because nothing was provided on arrival. I think the host should be present at check‑in, or at least have a staff member on duty to handle it (here we just got the keys and a quick “this is your room, this is the bathroom”). In short, the welcome could be better.

Clean and welcoming as shown in the photos. The bathroom is private but it’s not mentioned that it’s outside the room.
