The reception was excellent; Paula greeted us warmly. The lodge is beautiful, very clean and organized. The mattress, however, caused back pain.
“Average room, pricey pillows, and a cramped breakfast”
The room was decent, nothing fancy but it did the job. The breakfast had a limited fruit selection and after 9 a.m. the buffet was packed and many items weren't restocked. They also charge extra for an extra pillow, which felt a bit odd. Still, the overall vibe was okay.
“Great stay, but work setup and early closing are a downside”
I really enjoyed Marina Porto – the room was spacious and comfy, the pool and lounge on the first floor were great, and the restaurant was a highlight. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout. For business travelers, the desk in the room is too small and the Wi‑Fi had a few hiccups. Also, the restaurant shuts down at 8 p.m., which is a bit early if you’re coming back late.
