River View Jungle Camp is simply paradise on earth. The view from our room of the Rapti River and the rhinoceros that visited the hotel every day was indescribable. We truly enjoyed the safari trips, and what surprised us was how family‑like the place felt 😊 Manager Laba was incredibly kind, helpful, and friendly. Our confidential chats with him were enriching and interesting. The amazing and relaxed guide Mangara, waiter Somnat, who always took good care of us and greeted us with a smile each day, and our dear driver Kamal, who patiently waited for us and drove us, are among the many people that made us feel so good at River View Jungle Camp. Thank you all for everything. We will never forget this place. A piece of our hearts ❤️ stays here.

“Beautiful stay”

The hotel is in a great spot—after an hour there I spotted two rhinos in the river behind :) The staff are very helpful. We also had a nice lunch at the restaurant. The AC works well in hot, hot Chitwan!

The property sits in an amazing location overlooking the river. The rooms were lovely and comfortable, and we were kindly upgraded to a premium room since it was off‑season. They’re building a pool and a cafe overlooking the river, which will be amazing, I’m sure! Unfortunately we were made to feel slightly guilty for not booking our activities through the property, which were significantly more expensive than what we found; as two students on a bit of a budget, that mattered to us.

We had a great stay. The staff were very accommodating and kindly helped us shorten our stay without any issues. They also informed us whenever a rhino was near the hotel, which made the experience even more special. Every day, bottled water was replenished in the room, which we really appreciated. Overall, excellent service and a wonderful experience

The best thing about the place is the guide, Mr Mangara. He is absolutely the BEST! The rooms that say river view no longer have a proper river view since they are building a block of rooms in front of the existing rooms. The food at the restaurant is also mediocre; better to eat out if you are staying here.
