“Aan renovatie toe, geen goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding.”

The location is really nice, with a view of one of the bridges over the Canal, but everything in the room is old and worn out. The bathtub leaked, the shower leaked, the shower tap didn’t work properly, the bathroom door handle fell off, a bathroom tile came loose, a wall shelf was loose, the room’s sweet fragrance was awful, a light switch fell from the wall, the tile seams were missing, the toilet button kept sticking, the toilet was old and worn, a water barrier on the floor came loose, and all of that for a seriously expensive booking.

“Great location but loud”

The staff are very friendly and the property sits in a neighborhood full of great restaurants and shops, but the hotel is on a very popular hangout spot and street noise is loud in the rooms, especially on weekends when parties go on until 4 am, making it hard to fall asleep.

The location is excellent, close to cafés, restaurants and public transit, and I’d stay here again, but the rooms are small as expected and there’s nowhere to put anything, only furniture attached to the walls, so it’s best for short stays.

“good location for light travel that does not require accessibility”

Breakfast was yummy, the front desk staff tries to be helpful but can’t solve problems quickly, like safety deposit boxes being locked or bathroom lights not working, but the hotel has great access to restaurants and cafés in a lively part of Paris and Canal San Martin views. However, the property isn’t accessible; there’s a stair to enter the bathroom and the hotel, and the rooms are very tight with no maneuverability.

“A very enjoyable stay”

The staff were welcoming and helpful. We were upgraded and the room was spacious and clean
