Breakfast was amazing, as was all the food served from the kitchen, and the views were stunning.

The location, the view, the quiet, the pool, the breakfast, the room, and the two‑kilometre trail all worked in our favour. However, the hotel should not claim to have multiple pools – there is only one, the children's pool is abandoned and the jacuzzi is out of order. The surrounding area could use a cleaning.

The silence of the mountain spot surrounded by olive trees was perfect. Getting to the hotel is a challenge: a 2‑km gravel trail with stones isn’t ideal for a city car.

“Excellent séjour, le calme, la restauration et la piscine étaient très agréables.”

The dinner and breakfast were excellent, and the peaceful countryside setting with valley views was very enjoyable. The access path is a bit confusing; additional directional signs would be reassuring.

“Hotel- und Pferde- Anlage in den Bergen”

Our second stay at Velani was a beautiful, secluded mountain resort. The rooms were large and clean, breakfast was very good and extensive, and the restaurant is also recommended. The view from the property is grand, and there is a nice small, well‑maintained swimming pool with valley views. The resort houses many horses and other animals. Parking is free for all guests arriving by car; from the paved road to the resort it’s about 2 km over a very uneven gravel track.
