The beachside spot was gorgeous, though there were no beach chairs. The breakfast buffet was very extensive. The only drawback was that the lively village centre was a 20‑minute walk away.

The private beach is pristine and stunning, with breathtaking sunsets. The hotel sits in a secluded spot, so there isn’t much around; the nearest restaurants and a 7‑Eleven are about a 10‑minute walk away. Dinner at the hotel was disappointing for the price, especially with an extra 7 % VAT and 10 % service charge. The rooms are lovely with great views, and the whole property feels like a beautiful garden surrounded by mountains and sea. The swimming pools are well designed, featuring a water slide area, a diving section, and pools of various depths that the kids absolutely adored. There’s plenty for both adults and children, so you can spend the whole vacation here without leaving. Breakfast is excellent with a wide range of foods, including many Chinese options, 8–10 types of fruit, milkshakes, and Thai milk tea. Croissants and desserts are freshly baked and tasty. Wi‑Fi covers the entire hotel and the signal is strong. The kids’ club has a PS5, and the staff can look after the children, which is very convenient for parents. A couple of small things could be better: opening and closing the louvered blinds every day takes time, and the 11:00 a.m. check‑out feels a bit early. Overall, if you’re after a relaxing resort holiday and don’t mind being away from the surrounding area, this is a great place to stay.

Being close to the beach was a major plus, and the pools were amazing. The kids club was also nice and the staff were friendly. The downside was that the staff were overwhelmed, so sometimes the response was slower than expected.

The pools were great, especially the lazy river and other facilities. Breakfast was amazing with plenty of choices and fresh food. The place felt a bit run down and could use a freshen‑up.

“Tolles Resort”

The location is excellent. Basically a private beach and especially the lack of loungers directly on the beach makes it so wonderful. Over there in Karon it looks much fuller with loungers everywhere. Because it was off‑season in August it wasn’t full and indeed – the sea is not calm. That doesn’t hurt the whole thing and the extensive pool area with Lazy River, water slides and diving area more than compensates. Those who don’t want to walk over to the center of Karon can take a shuttle. Also relaxed and not worth criticism. The prices for food in the restaurant are reasonable. For us this resort was ideal. The resort has, of course, been around for a few years but that does not devalue the entire property. Those who want high gloss must also be willing to pay for it. We were and are satisfied. The departure did not go entirely smoothly. Nevertheless we were on time for the airport. On my email inquiry I received a prompt and detailed reply. So criticism, in my opinion, is taken seriously. Hotel rules could be enforced with a bit more emphasis.
