The house sits right near the city center, its old charm makes it very peaceful. Benjamin, our host, is pleasant and well-read. The room and bathroom are spacious. The old building has a lot of character but could use some restoration work.

What a fantastic property and such a helpful, engaging host. We arrived and the gates opened to a narrow path leading to parking in a secluded garden and a historic house built in 1740. Benjamin guided us to our ground‑floor room, which is spacious and beautifully furnished, and the bed was very comfortable. This is a very old house with vintage furniture and fascinating accessories, a real contrast to standard hotels where everything is the same. Definitely not boring. Breakfast featured excellent coffee served at an ancient dining table, and our host entertained us with stories about his family and the town. My limited French was challenged, and we enjoyed chatting with him. The house is a 10‑minute walk from the town center, the cathedral, and other historic sites. Thank you, Benjamin. The heat wave made our room warm at night; a fan might have helped.
