Grad Hotel and Hostel

“Leider sehr ekelhaft.”

The location is very central. Because of missing windows the whole building smells like human emissions. Many drains are not free, so water accumulates in sinks and the shower area. In the sinks hair, beard fuzz and food scraps float. The toilets are dirty. Once a snail crawled across the corridor and left a slime trail! Except for one instance, the staff was consistently unfriendly and seems not to care about the hostel.

“Backroom vibes, billigt, men ik forvent for meget af stedet”

The bedding was clean. Cheap and fine enough if you just plan to be out all day and not stay at the hostel. We switched rooms to one with windows you could open. We also changed rooms because the original room had roof windows without any curtains, so neighbors in surrounding buildings could look down; it was not private living. Many rooms had no windows, so you couldn't ventilate properly, and it smelled enclosed. There was a carpet on the floors, which made the place smell a bit because the carpets couldn't be washed properly. There wasn't much furnishing and the walls were gray, so it wasn't very cozy, neither the rooms nor the common areas, which gave backroom vibes.

“Für kurze Aufenthalte Top”

It was very central and the staff very friendly. The beds were very uncomfortable and we received dirty bed linen. The mattresses were so thin that we felt the slatted bed base in our backs all night.

The hotel is well‑located, clean, and offers good services at a very reasonable price. 🇮🇶
