The manager was friendly, the bed was good, the room was clean and the shower was delightful. The breakfast was very sparse.

The shower worked fine and breakfast included a boiled egg and fresh rolls; there was parking right outside, and the rooms sit behind a residential house in a quiet neighbourhood. On the downside, the welcome was unfriendly – we arrived late around 20:30 after notifying them earlier in the day, but that apparently didn’t matter. The linen was 100 % synthetic, which felt sweaty and didn’t absorb moisture like cotton. There was no air‑conditioning and the window had no screen, so we had to rely on the door grille and window to keep mosquitoes out, limiting ventilation. I bumped my head on a shelf when getting out of bed, and the room is full of ornaments; the bathroom even had nine little angels, which might charm fans of vintage décor.
