The place is close to the tube station, but it would help if they stocked the kitchen with proper utensils like pans and pots.

The location is very close to the tube station and Tesco, and the room comes with a fridge and access to a shared kitchen. The room had the essentials, even a decent hair dryer. There was only one coat rack, which I suspect guests might take. Entry to the property and the room is controlled by a PIN, which is simple and works well. The room was clean, and the kitchen was cleaned regularly. The value for money was generally good, though the price means you have to make some compromises, which we were aware of. The bathroom and toilet are separate, which is sensible for a shared bath, but there is no sink in the toilet, so you can only wash your hands when the bath is free or by going to the kitchen, which is inconvenient. There is no mirror in the bath, a significant issue that could be fixed with available space. As a contact lens wearer, I had to put them on and take them off in the room under less than ideal hygiene. The bath mat looked extremely dirty; it might be better not to have one at all and provide a separate mat per room. The shower was not very intuitive but acceptable. A serious problem was the room door with a keypad: it had to be pulled firmly to close, which we noticed immediately and kept an eye on. On our last full day, we left the room and the property in the morning, checked the door was shut, and returned in the evening. The door was open and anyone else could have entered. We contacted the host, who responded quickly and investigated. Apparently a cleaning staff had left the door improperly closed, but there was no apology. Mistakes happen, but this should not occur.

The rooms were somewhat okay but looked a bit worn. The double bed had a shaky metal frame that rattled when someone moved.
