The private beach was a highlight, and staying in an ocean‑view room meant the view from the window was unbeatable. The hotel offered a kids’ pool and a restaurant with a BBQ, plus a breakfast buffet. Coin‑laundry was available for a fee, and fireworks could be set off on the beach. However, about 80 % of the staff were foreigners, and the answers to my questions varied, which left me confused and feeling the staff were not fully in control. One front desk employee even seemed unpleasant. When I checked in, I was told there would be an extra child fee, but after confirming my reservation payment I was relieved that no additional charge applied, though my trust in the staff was dented. Using the pool or beach meant even towel changes were charged, and parking and other services were almost entirely paid. Even when I requested a room cleaning, the coffee inside wasn’t refilled. There were two breakfast buffets, but the menus were almost identical, with only slight differences. The pool and beach staff were not very friendly; the lifeguard didn’t monitor the area, and people jumped into the pool or used the slide dangerously without any warnings. The indoor pool’s cleanliness was also poor.
